So, here we go

Paperwork done, business cards ordered, I'm off and running. I think. I still need to work around my adorable but mischievous 10 month old boy (who is refusing to sleep as I type), get some childcare sorted and ask lots of people for their help but basically sorted.

I have a horrible feeling the housework will get even more neglected. So it's sticky feet, dirty hands and no clean pants from now on. Maybe. Or maybe I will turn into this domestic goddess, organised and forward thinking, that I always think I will be every time I buy a new notepad or diary or pen. It won't happen, but I really should get more organised. Very easy to do for work, where I can happily organise campaigns, or new websites, or marketing strategies, or 3 months worth of tweets, in time and under budget, but not so for home. I wonder why that is?

Maybe I can create a gantt chart for future domestic happiness, colour code us all up and send a few threatening emails if things look like slipping. Oh! I just figured it out - agencies! I just need to contract a cleaner, a cook, get a laundry service on board and get myself a nanny and it will all be sorted. Phew.
